REGISTRATION CLOSES OCTOBER 30!
This fall, SkillsUSA Florida students have the opportunity to participate in two exciting virtual leadership conferences – the Virtual Fall Leadership Conference and Elevate. Each conference is designed to be engaging, fun, and full of valuable growth opportunities. Sessions will be facilitated live in both large and small group formats.
The 2020 Virtual Fall Leadership Conference will take place on November 10, 2020 from 9 AM to 2:30 PM EST. Participants will learn more about the SkillsUSA Framework, which illustrates our mission; its Essential Elements, defined by business and industry as the skills most important in employees today; and how you can develop your SkillsUSA Framework knowledge and skills to be successful in your career. Students will be able to create an action plan that includes using available opportunities to grow your career-readiness skills. They will also have the chance to earn the SkillsUSA Florida Statesman Award, the highest state-level award a student can achieve!
Prework is required – students must create an account on SkillsUSA CONNECT, and complete the Essential Element Assessment before the event. More information is included in the Advisor Guide. Students will need access to a 1:1 laptop or Chromebook, as sessions are tailored to the essential element growth of each student.
